Hello my friends…
My name is Mike Sirota, and I sing as Cantor at Temple Ami Shalom in West Covina, California (www.amishalom.com).
Fifteen years ago, I was asked to officiate at my niece’s wedding in Cabo San Lucas.
That joyful experience inspired me to develop a meaningful ceremony that I have been able to share with many couples since then.
My approach combines song, prayer and meditations created as a warm blanket around the couples’ individual vows and personal words at the center of the ceremony….in my opinion, the most important part.
The marriage ceremony that I offer works perfectly for Jewish and also Interfaith couples.
It is my particular joy to participate in these beautiful ceremonies.
Besides marriage ceremonies, I also perform funerals, graveside services and memorials as well as preparing students for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and leading private, customized services for them on Shabbat morning or afternoon.
It would be my pleasure and honor to work with you to create your meaningful celebration or memorial.

Mike attended UC Berkeley and received his credentials in Early Childhood
Education / Ecology
He has a background in working with children on the autism spectrum, providing compassionate and special training for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.
Mike leads Shabbat and Holiday services and special events at Temple Ami Shalom in West Covina.
He also sings in a Folk Trio, The Folk Collection (www.thefolkcollection.com)
AND runs his own business, Permitwiz, providing permit services for Sign companies in Southern California.
